MK Dons 2-0

Reason for tip

The Dons have won each of their last three home head-to-heads with the Red Devils to nil and nine of the 11 total meetings have only see one side find the back of the net. MK Dons have scored at least two goals in five of their last six home matches and, with a three goal deficit likely to be too large a hurdle to overcome, a 2-0 winning scoreline draws a lot of appeal.

MK Dons vs Crawley Town Predictions

  • MK Dons have lost just one of their last 10 home games
  • Crawley have not scored in four of their five visits to Stadium MK
  • The Red Devils hold a 3-0 advantage from the first leg

Victory for Dons not enough to seal Wembley spot

After falling to a 3-0 defeat in the first leg at Broadfield Stadium, MK Dons have it all to do in the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Crawley and they could cause issues for the Red Devils at Stadium MK as they look to overturn the three goal deficit.

The Dons have been strong at home this season, taking 47 points in front of their own fans – a tally only bettered by Wrexham and Stockport who finished second and first in League Two respectively.

Crawley meanwhile have won four of their last six on the road but their record in Milton Keynes does not make for as positive viewing, with the Red Devils losing each of their last three visits here.

Each of these defeats came to nil, while only two of the eleven head-to-heads between these two sides have seen both sides find the net. The Dons should be able to register a shutout victory on Saturday evening, however a three goal deficit may be too tall an order to overturn and may fall just short of their Wembley target.
