Wolverhampton vs Crystal Palace Predictions

  • Crystal Palace are unbeaten in five matches, winning four times
  • Wolves have won just one of their last nine league matches
  • Michael Olise has scored three goals in his last four outings

Eagles can continue to soar

Crystal Palace have been in outstanding form with the Premier League finish line in sight, and their 4-0 win over Manchester United was mightily impressive.

That was the Eagles’ fourth win in five matches of an unbeaten run and we predict that there is more to come from the in-form south Londoners.

Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham have all been seen off in that sequence and any lingering doubts about relegation have been emphatically brushed away.

Wolves, on the other hand, are limping towards the conclusion of the campaign, and our prediction is for a comfortable away win at Molineux on Saturday.

Wolves are lacking bite

A mid-table finish has been secured by Wolves, but things were looking even brighter early on in the season, when a flurry of positive results between Christmas and early March put a European spot on the horizon.

Wins over Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea (twice) and Everton were particular highlights but injuries started to pile up and so came a reduction in points and goals.

Gary O’Neil’s side haven’t score more than twice in any of their last nine matches, and on only three occasions in that run have they bagged more than one.

Two of their last three home games have yielded blanks, and the only goals they have scored in three home matches came against struggling Luton.

We predict another scoreless effort on Saturday as Wanderers run out of steam, and a 2-0 outcome is our correct score prediction.

Olise looks too hot to handle

Michael Olise scored twice for Palace in Monday’s 4-0 win over Manchester United, and another goal for the silky forward is predicted.

It’s four strikes from his last four appearances for the 22-year-old who has bagged nine goals in 17 outings this season and the Palace forward line is thriving.

New boss Oliver Glasner promotes a positive approach and he is getting a tune out of Olise, Eberechi Eze and Jean-Phillipe Mateta.

Wolves could find the trio too hot to handle, and Olise is predicted to continue his hot streak.
