The end of the international break doesn’t just mean the return of domestic football, it also means the return of fantasy football, which as we all know, spices up any footballing weekend. GW9 Fantasy Football Tips

Andriy Yarmolenko (West Ham, £6.0m)

After an injury-hit first season, wide-man Andriy Yarmolenko has started to come into his own in a claret and blue shirt. By scoring three goals, in three separate games, and twice being a recipient of bonus points, the Ukrainian has proven to be a tidy point scorer.

What’s good about Yarmolenko, who comes back to the Premier League after scoring for his country, is that he’s never far away from the attacking action. A player capable of providing telling crosses into the box, he’s also a player that likes to come inside and shoot with his deadly left-foot, which as midfielder goals yield five points, is always good news for FPL players.

At just £6.0m, Yarmolenko should give players a run for their outlay when going up against a struggling Everton side on Saturday lunchtime.

Josh King (Bournemouth, £6.3m)

A regular fixture in the FST fantasy team this term, Josh King is another player whose efforts don’t match his price-tag.

The Bournemouth man can be picked up for just £6.3m, which seems on the cheap side given his recent exploits. Two goals and three assists in the first eight matches have allowed King to benefit from bonus points on three occasions, making him the 10th best forward in the league in terms of points, the 5th if we exclude players from the big teams. The fact that King is also the Cherries’ designated penalty taker is good news for fantasy players looking to bring in a cut-price striker.

This weekend, the Norwegian international, who netted against Spain last weekend, takes on a Norwich back-line that has been all over the place in recent weeks, shipping 13 in five, so scoring opportunities shouldn’t be in short supply.

Ricardo Pereira (Leicester, £6.2m)

The highest-point-scoring defender in FPL, Ricardo Pereira has rewarded players who put their faith in the Portuguese full-back earlier in the season with a goal in two of his last three matches. Not only has he scored a couple of goals in recent weeks, but he’s got himself into wide attacking positions on a regular basis, so it probably won’t be long before the Leicester man starts chipping in with a few assists too. Ahead of a home game against a Burnley side that has been surprisingly easy to score against on the road this term, FPL players could do a lot worse than Pereira at a generous £6.2m.

Emiliano Buendía (Norwich, £6.0m)

With Cantwell and Pukki stealing most of the headlines when Norwich have done well, Emiliano Buendía has gone under the radar somewhat. The Argentine is yet to register on the scoresheet, but that’s not to say he’s not a valuable addition at just £6.0m, as he’s been a steady point scorer, chipping in with four assists, one of which came last time out. He’s also one of the Premier League’s top five in terms of chances created.

What’s more, the Canaries’ creator will be going up against a Bournemouth side that is famously open. In fact, only Norwich themselves have conceded more home goals than the Cherries in the Premier League this term, so it’s not difficult to envisage Buendía having a fruitful afternoon on Saturday.
