Now living in Manchester, he is a long suffering Bolton Wanderers fan who also enjoys boxing, the NBA, tennis and rugby league.

Here at FST we take our tipping seriously, but we’re feeling festive right now and have put together a novelty accumulator where all of our picks spell out the word Christmas!

That said, the majority of these teams have been picked to win by our talented team of tipsters in our dedicated match predictions section. There are a few exceptions, but I’ve done the research and they haven’t been added just to make up the numbers, or should I say letters?

You can see our Christmas CrACCA picks and back our nine-fold bet below.

FST’s 78/1 Christmas CrACCA

C – Celtic

Celtic head to St Johnstone in the early Scottish Premiership kick off and can pick up all three points. Saints have lost their last five, while the Hoops have won their last six away games and are unbeaten in their last 20 meetings with their hosts.

H – Hearts

Hearts are comfortably ‘best of the rest’ in Scotland’s top tier with 33 points from 19 games. The Edinburgh outfit entertain Ross County on Boxing Day and look well placed to come out on top. Only Rangers have managed to beat Hearts at Tynecastle this season, while the visitors have lost five of their 10 trips so far.

R – Rangers

Our third pick also comes from the Premiership as Rangers entertain St Mirren. The Ibrox club have won their last eight league games and can down a Buddies side who are winless in their last nine games.

I – Inverness

Inverness have won three of their last four Scottish Championship games and boast the best home record in the league with six wins and three defeats in nine games.  The Caley Jags did lose at home to Hamilton last time out, but can bounce back against a Patrick Thistle side who have just one win and one goal in their last three games.

S – Standard Liege

Standard Liege are having a poor season by their standards but they can claim a much needed win against visitors Waregem this weekend. Waregem have three defeats in their last four games, including losses in their last two away games, while Standard overcame Eupen in their last home assignment in the league.

T – Tranmere

Tranmere have won their last four league games and can make it five in a row against Barrow on Boxing Day. Rovers have won their last two League Two games at Prenton Park and have won seven of their 10 at home in total, while Barrow have lost three of their last five trips in the league.

M – Mansfield

Mansfield are on a four-game winning streak ahead of the visit of Hartlepool and look set to make it five in a row. The Stags have made their Field Mill home a fortress in recent weeks and have won their last five at home in all competitions, while Pools have the worst away record in the division with eight defeats in 10 trips.

A – Arsenal

Arsenal are in form right now with four wins in a row and they should be able to claim a comfortable win at Norwich. Any ‘new boss bounce’ the Canaries enjoyed after Dean Smith’s appointment has disappeared and they’ve lost their last three games without scoring, so back the Champions League chasing Gunners to take maximum points at Carrow Road.

S – Stockport

Completing our Christmas CrACCA is National League side Stockport County, who should be able to down local rivals Altrincham at Edgeley Park. Stockport have four wins in their last six and have won their last two home games, while they beat League One Bolton after extra time in the FA Cup before those two wins. Alty have hit a rough patch with just one win in their last 12 games, and they’ve lost three of their last four.
