Barnet vs Leyton Orient Predictions

Much of Barnet’s success this season has been built on the back of a solid defence but following a heavy defeat to Portsmouth last week and a midweek draw with Morecambe, they have now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three games. That midweek point has put the Bees in 17th position with 11 points, although they do have a game in hand on most of the division after their match with Newport was abandoned a few weeks ago.

Leyton Orient were expected by many to be one of the key challengers for the League Two title come the end of the season so, with the club languishing in the bottom half after the opening nine games, it is probably not surprising Orient took the decision to end the five-month tenure of Andy Hessenthaler. Stepping into the breach was assistant manager Andy Edwards and he know doubt fired up his side to go out all guns blazing against league leaders Plymouth on Tuesday night. Captain Robbie Weir maybe took that point a little far as he was sent off for a reckless challenge just 20 seconds into the match.

Given that both teams have scored in all of Leyton Orient’s away games so far and Barnet’s last three games have seen each team find the back of the net, our tip will be for that run to continue. We like the look of the odds with bet365, they are offering 8/13. For our correct score tip we think Orient will put their bad form to an end and take a 2-1 win away from their London rivals.
