Birmingham vs Hull Betting Tips and Predictions

Birmingham and Hull both have promotion hopes but it is the Tigers that will truly believe they are on course for an immediate return to the top flight. They have lost just once in 12 outings so far in 2016 and will return to the top with a point here but would dearly love all 3 to ramp up the pressure on Middlesbrough who are faltering a little and play the following day.

This is Birmingham’s game in hand on all the sides directly above them and they will want to capitalise on that. They are currently 8th and 4 points off the top six but they will move above 7th placed Cardiff with victory here. They were beaten at the weekend though when they went down to a 2-0 defeat at QPR but had lost only 1 of their previous 7 games.

Hull aren’t blowing teams away but they continue to accumulate points. They’ve been struggling for a goals a bit though and there has only been 1 goal at either end in their last 4 matches. That came in their 1-0 win at Portman Road but their other 3 games over the past fortnight have all ended goalless. 2 of Birmingham’s last 5 matches have also finished 0-0 and they are quite strong at the back too so it’s very hard to see there being many goals in this.

Therefore backing this to finish in a 0-0 draw at 13/2 looks to represent good value.
