Brondby vs Red Bull Salzburg Predictions

Salzburg claimed a 2-1 win over Brondby in the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie and they can finish the job with a win in Denmark.

The Austrian champions may have only won by a one-goal margin in the first leg but in truth they should be going into this game with a far bigger lead.  Brondby scored in the first four minutes with their only shot on target and managed just one further attempt after that, while Salzburg enjoyed 74% of the possession and had 29 attempts with 10 on target.

Brondby have a draw and a defeat from two home games so far, while Salzburg have a perfect record home and away with seven wins in as many games across all competitions.

Given how dominant Salzburg were in the first leg, I think they can win this match-up with room to spare and an away win with a -1 handicap is my main tip.   A 3-1 win for the visitors is my correct score selection, as Salzburg have managed just two clean sheets in their seven games and have scored at least three goals on four occasions.
