Cardiff may be down in 21st place while Huddersfield are riding high in 3rd but as is often the case in this league, there is still relatively little to choose between the teams and with home advantage, the Bluebirds start as favourites.

They’ve taken 7 points from 5 games since the arrival of the veteran boss and even though their last two games have ended in defeat, there were positives to take from a spirited display at St James’ Park last time out where they were only beaten 2-1.

It’s hard to see Cardiff running away with this like recent sides have done at home to Huddersfield, but they may just have enough about them to claim what would be a crucial 3 points. The international break will have given Warnock his first real chance to work on a few things over an extended period and there is still enough quality in the squad to certainly move clear of danger.

Huddersfield’s current 3rd place is largely thanks to their home form and given things have gone badly wrong for them in recent away games, backing an improving Cardiff 0.00 Asian Handicap at 31/40 looks to offer some value here.
