Gateshead are by no means a bad side, they’re currently eighth in the league and are capable of putting in performances – their 5-0 thrashing of high-flying Dagenham earlier in the season serves as a great example of this. However, they’ve not quite been at it of late, struggling particularly away from home. The visiting side have also failed to score in three of their last five away from home, against a Chester team who’re certainly capable of turning it on at home, they could easily find themselves coming up short once again.

Overall, the hosts wouldn’t be the worst bet to win the match, but they look an even better bet to find the net a couple of times and, therefore, that’s the way to go ahead of this one.
