Despite having drawn four and won one from their last five matches, Bradford remain in the top 3 in League One. The Bantams have been notoriously hard to beat so far this season and, while not the biggest scorers, they’ve shown great defensive ability – conceding the lowest amount in the league (7).

Chesterfield have been the opposite, they’ve looked particularly good going forward of late, but their defence looks somewhat leaky. It is this poor defending that make them hard to fancy here and thus the visitors are the side to be on in this fixture.

The visitors remain unbeaten this season and it’s fair to say they’ve looked as strong as anyone in this division at times, especially at the back. Scoring goals hasn’t been the easiest for them (found the net just 12 times) but, against a side who’ve conceded fifteen, this is a good opportunity for the visitors to both claim a second win on the bounce and improve their goal tally.

The hosts in four of their last five matches at home, against weaker sides than Bradford, have let in a total of eight goals and, in truth, they just don’t look strong enough to get the better of a Bradford side who really are strong. The visitors are easily good enough to keep things tight at the back here and should be capable of taking advantage of a poor Chesterfield defensive line.
