Crewe vs Luton Predictions
We are backing Luton to come away with all three points when they travel to Crewe this weekend and this is available at 21/20 with bet365. It should be a fairly routine day at the office for the Hatters and for our correct score tip we are predicting a comfortable 2-0 away win, which is available at 17/2 with the same site.
Crewe’s disappointing end to 2016 has continued into the new year and the Alex are now without a win in their previous seven games. As well as being unable to defend in a bad run of form they are also having to contend with a drought up front. In those same seven games they have scored just two goals, and this isn’t just something that is a recent phenomenon, they have the second worst offensive record in League Two.
Visiting Gresty Road is a Luton side which, in spite of a few recent set backs, are still well within the hunt of winning promotion come the end of the season. Luton’s form has dipped of late and their last eight games has given a fairly unspectacular points haul of 11 points.
The Hatters do have the best defensive record in the division to rely on and even though they suffered defeat in the FA Cup to Accrington last weekend they will be buoyed by their progress to the quarter finals in the controversial Checkatrade Trophy in midweek. That game saw them put four past League One’s Chesterfield which gives a clear indication that their strike-force can be lethal on occasion.
