Crewe vs Cheltenham Predictions

Crewe take on League Two winners Cheltenham Town in their season opener and the Railwaymen can open their account with all three points.

It was a great achievement for Cheltenham to win promotion but it will be a far bigger accomplishment if they can stay up.  The Robins haven’t made any significant signings over the summer, and look prime candidates for the drop.

Crewe were solid at Gresty Road last season with 10 wins, seven draws and six defeats, and they should be able to overcome their opponents with home advantage on Saturday.

The Alex won three of their final five games last season, drawing the other two, and scored at least two goals in three of those outings so we feel a 2-0 home win looks a good shout in the correct score market.
