Denmark vs Gibraltar Predictions

Denmark secured a 4-0 friendly win over Luxembourg last month, just days after they beat Switzerland 1-0 at home in the Euro 2020 qualifiers to move into second place in Group D. Gibraltar lost 3-2 at home to Georgia last month and have been defeated in all of their qualifiers so far meaning they will finish bottom of the group no matter how they perform against Denmark and Switzerland this week.

All of the stats suggest that we are almost guaranteed a home win for Denmark this Friday with an increased chance of under 5.5 goals being scored, so we have backed the hosts to claim a 5-0 victory.

Denmark are unbeaten in their last thirteen matches, picking up seven wins, while Gibraltar have lost their last ten matches, so you can see why we’re expecting a home win this Friday.

The performances of both countries heading into Friday’s clash provide plenty of reasons to back a 5-0 win for the hosts, as under 5.5 goals have been produced in four of Denmark’s six matches as well as in eight of Gibraltar’s last nine outings. Denmark have kept clean sheets in each of their last four matches and Gibraltar have failed to score in five of their last six games.

The visitors have conceded fourteen goals in their last five away games while the hosts have scored eleven goals in their last four home games. Only one of Gibraltar’s last fourteen away games have seen Over 5.5, the 9-0 defeat to Belgium, which is why we’ve backed Denmark to win and under 5.5 goals to be produced this Friday.

We’re confident that Denmark will win and under 5.5 goals will be produced in Friday’s match and we have predicted a final scoreline of 5-0. Denmark head into the game as the clear form favourites and already have a big win against their guests in the qualifiers. Gibraltar have lost all of their qualifying games for Euro 2020 and its very difficult to see them avoiding defeat or even scoring a goal on Friday. The visitors have only conceded more than four goals in one of their last six matches but that game was against Denmark and with the home advantage we are expecting another big win for the Danes this Friday.
