Deportivo La Coruna vs Levante Betting Tips & Predictions

Deportivo La Coruna made a great start to the season and it is a good job they did given their form so far in 2016. They have gone 15 matches without a win in all competitions since a 2-0 win against Eibar 3 months ago. 4 of their last 5 matches have ended in defeat although they did come within minutes of winning their last home against Malaga but conceded late on to draw 3-3. Depor still have a 6 point cushion on the bottom 3 but will certainly be looking over their shoulder if they fail to win this.

Levante are rock bottom but picked up a crucial win in the Valencia derby last weekend and are only 3 points off safety. They picked up an excellent point at Real Sociedad in the game prior to that too and there does seem to be enough fight and quality in this side to suggest they are capable of making a late escape although they will need to put a really good run together over the final 9 games.

The clubs drew 1-1 back in the first half of the season in Valencia and with the form that Deportivo are in you could certainly see Levante getting a result again here. Their away form has been poor for the duration of the season but they do score the odd goal on the road and have netted 5 times in their last 5 away from home. Depor’s 3-3 home draw with Malaga last time out at the Riazor was unexpected given neither have a reputation for particularly attacking football but it may have been an indication that Depor are changing their approach to a more attacking philosophy. They will certainly be going all out to win this and that could allow Levante a few openings at the other end so backing both teams to score at 10/11 could be the smart bet here.
