Dundee vs Ross County Predictions
Dundee suffered a torrid start to the new season as they won one, drew three, and lost seven of their opening 11 games, but the last month or so has seen them drastically improve.
They managed a 1-0 win at Hamilton before beating Motherwell and Inverness CT. These wins have been broken up by defeats to Rangers and Kilmarnock, but it’s been enough to lift them to 10th position. This won’t be much solace considering the tightness of the bottom half of the table though, with a win potentially sending them to 6th and a defeat possibly sending them to the bottom.
Ross County are largely in the same boat as them. They lost their season opener to none other than Dundee before winning back to back games. After that it all went downhill as they failed to win any of their next ten matches. They finally got back to winning ways with a 4-2 win at St Johnstone, but they have still won just one of their last 13 outings in the Premiership.
They have proven more difficult to beat over the past month though with three draws and one win making up their four results, and away from home they have won one, drawn three, and lost three of their last seven matches.
Dundee have won back to back games at home though, beating both Motherwell and Inverness CT to break out of their dreadful start. I think, despite last weekend’s away defeat, that the hosts will be in high spirits coming into this one.
Ross County have struggled on the road, especially going forward, and this should suit Dundee well. I’m backing a Dundee 0.0 Asian Handicap Win at 1.750 alongside a 2-0 correct score predictions at 10/1.
