Dynamo Kiev vs Malmo FF Predictions
Dynamo Kiev made it six games without a win when they went down 2-1 at home to Desna in the league last weekend, while Malmo won their third match on the run as they pitched a 1-0 win at home to Norrkoping.
All of the stats point towards both teams scoring in Thursday night’s clash between Dynamo Kiev and Malmo, and although the form guide suggests the visitors are better placed to win the game, we’re backing the Ukrainians to end their winless run.
These two teams have never met competitively before but did lock horns for a friendly back in February which ended goalless, not that we believe that, that result will have any bearing on Thursday’s clash.
Both teams have scored in Dynamo Kiev’s last five matches and the hosts haven’t kept a single clean sheet in their last six matches in all competitions, conceding at least two goals in four of their last five matches. Malmo have only failed to score in one of their last six matches and the same can be said about Dynamo Kiev, which is why we’re confident both teams will score on Thursday and believe that the hosts will need to score three times to win, as we’re expecting Malmo to find the back of the net twice.
Dynamo Kiev have scored five goals in their last three home games, while Malmo have scored six goals in their last two away games, which just adds even more weight to our prediction of both teams to score and for the game to end 3-2. Both teams have lost one of their last four matches in all competitions so we’re expecting a very close and competitive ninety minutes, but Dynamo Kiev have the better of the two squads and the home advantage, which is why we believe they will just manage to edge out their guests.
We’re confident that both teams will score on Thursday and have predicted a final scoreline of 3-2 in favour of Dynamo Kiev. The hosts have not been at their best in recent weeks, conceding too many goals, but have been finding the back of the net on a regular basis and this is where we believe they will win Thursday’s contest.
