ENPPI vs Haras El Hodood Predictions
- ENPPI have won each of their last three matches, scoring eight goals in the process.
- Haras El Hodood have won none of their last three, scoring zero goals in the process.
- Three of the last four renewals of this fixture have ended all-square.
Hosts on the up
After a rocky start to the season, a start that saw them go six games without a win, ENPPI have steadied themselves and are now moving in the right direction.
Wednesday’s hosts come into this match having won each of their last four games. Not only have they won four on the bounce, but they’ve impressed in the final third, scoring ten goals, notching two or more in three out of four. Their recent home win against Zamalek, who’re currently up in 4th place, bodes well ahead of a match against a visiting side that has been struggling of late.
Lack of goals a problem
Unlike the hosts, who’ve got their act together of late, Wednesday’s visitors have struggled to get going over the last month or so. Haras El Hodood have won none of their last four, three of which they’ve lost. Not exactly the sort of form you want to be in ahead of a game against a side that seemingly can’t stop winning.
The main problem for Haras at present is their lack of goals. Not only have they failed to win each of their last four, but they’ve failed to find the net during that time. Again, such scoring form is anything but positive ahead of facing a team that has been scoring for fun of late.
However, it can’t be overlooked that Haras have faced each of the top three in the last month, so they shouldn’t be judged too harshly. Prior to facing the top three, all of whom are a level above the rest of the division, Haras were unbeaten.
Goals on the cards
In the betting, despite what recent form may suggest, ‘Both Teams to Score’ stands out as a viable option. Haras have struggled for goals of late, but they now have an easier task, while they were finding the net with regularity before facing the best teams in the league, scoring in five out of five. Both teams found the net in four of those five. Moreover, although ENPPI have been prolific winners of late, they’ve struggled for clean sheets, keeping a clean sheet just once this season.
‘Correct Score’ players can try a 1-1 draw. The hosts have scored an average of one goal at home, while they’ve conceded exactly once in three out of four on their own patch this term. The exact same can be said for the visitors on the road, while the fact that each of the last four renewals of this fixture have ended all-square bodes well too.
