      Everton vs Leicester Predictions

Everton have admirably managed to avoid defeat a lot this season. They have only lost three matches all season, and they were against the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

However, their failure to pick up three points on a regular basis has stopped them from progressing up into the Europa League qualification positions. They sit in 10th position in the Premier League table, although to be fair they are only three points off 5th placed Spurs.

Everton come into this match having not lost any of their last eight games, but they have only managed to find a win in three of these matches.

Their attacking force of Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley can’t be faulted at all. The two have scored 18 Premier League goals between them this season and helped Everton to 18 goals in their last eight matches. It’s defence where they have the issues.

But defence is not something you want to have a problem with when coming face to face with Leicester at the moment. The visitors are the top scorers in the Premier League with 34 goals and have scored 14 in their last six.

Leicester have only lost once in the Premier League so far this season, and they come into this game having not lost in nine matches, winning seven of those.

This puts them in a completely unexpected 1st place in the Premier League as we near the halfway point in the season. They hold a two point lead over 2nd placed Arsenal and have increased their top four cushion to nine points.

Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley, Jamie Vardy, and Riyad Mahrez have a huge 44 Premier League goals between them so far this season, and both sets of attackers come up against defences which haven’t looked too steady this term.

This makes odds of 5/6 for Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score look really good value, and we’re also backing a 2-2 draw at 12/1 in what should be a really entertaining match.
