Getafe vs Eibar Betting Tips & Predictions 

This is unlikely to be a particularly high profile game between the two worst supported teams in the league. It is though of huge importance to Getafe who have been on an awful run of form and have taken just 1 point from their last 9 league fixtures. Despite that they are still just outside the relegation zone and would move up a place and 3 points clear of the drop-zone if they can win this and they will have a considerably better chance of doing that then last weekend when they were hammered 6-0 at Barcelona.

Eibar’s form has also taken a turn for the worse as it did last season but their much expected plummet down the table has not yet materialised. They are still 8th but have lost 7 of their last 9 league games, picking up only 4 points in that period. They did though stop the rot to some extent with a 1-1 draw at Rayo Vallecano last weekend and they are back in Madrid here looking for a win that would take them to that magic 40 point figure, which would be a fine achievement for a club of their size particularly with 8 games still to go after this.

In Getafe’s defence they have had some tough fixtures of late particularly at home where they had previously been quite strong. Their last 4 home games have all been against sides in the top 7 and they’ve not lost by more than 1 goal in any of those games. They held Sevilla to a 1-1 draw in their last home game. Eibar have scored in 6 of their last 7 away matches so will fancy adding to their tally here but with both teams in such poor form it is hard to see either side having enough to win this so consider backing this to finish in a 1-1 draw at 5/1.
