Hibernian vs Ross County Betting Tips & Predictions

Hibernian have seen their form drop off quite badly over the last couple of weeks. They have lost three of their last four and haven’t won any of them, which has seen them drop down to 3rd in the Scottish Championship. They are two points adrift of Falkirk in 2nd and a whole 22 points off the leaders Rangers.

However, they have enjoyed a very good run of form in terms of overall performance this campaign. They are still in with a shot of the Scottish FA Cup after their draw with Inverness CT last weekend and are certainly not out of the running in this Scottish League Cup Final.

Ross County aren’t in the best of form either. They have lost four of their last six in all competitions and have failed to find the net on three occasions during this run. This has left them in 4th position in the Scottish Premiership, but they will have to work hard to keep this position.

They are 14 points adrift of Hearts in 3rd position but only ahead of St Johnstone on head to head results, with the 5th placed side matching Ross County on points, goal difference, and goals scored.

This match is a really close one. Both teams’ have seen off very good sides to get to the final, with Hibernian knocking out Aberdeen and St Johnstone and Ross County beating Celtic and Inverness CT.

But Ross County are in the better form at the moment, and Hibernian’s recent poor run of results will have dented their confidence slightly. Odds of 1/1 for Ross County to Lift the Trophy look excellent value. I’m going for a narrow 2-1 win for them at 10/1 as well.
