Luton vs Doncaster Predictions
Luton started the season like a whirlwind and quickly found themselves at the summit of League Two after four wins from their opening six league games. Since then, however, things have taken a bit of a turn for the worse after back to back defeats has seen them drop to seventh in the division. Last week’s surprise loss away to Crawley was the latest set back in a season which has shown so much promise, but the form of striker Danny Hylton will be a growing concern. Hylton has started the season well and even though he bagged a hat-trick against Wycombe a few games ago he looked to be snatching at his chances in the defeats to Grimsby and Crawley.
Doncaster are in excellent shape and already look good to book an immediate return to League One. After eight games Rovers sit in second place in the league and after last weeks comfortable 2-0 victory over Newport County they will look to continue their good start on Saturday. Top scorer Andy Williams already has five goals this season and is looking settled in the new division.
We think that Luton will put their previous defeats down to complacency but they will certainly not look past Doncaster. Given they have an excellent scoring record at home, but have also shown vulnerabilities at the back, we are going to back both teams to score. This is available at 4/6 with bet365. For our correct score tip we think Rovers will be just a bit too strong so are backing a 2-1 away win.
