Norwich vs Manchester City Betting Tips & Predictions

Norwich are in real trouble at the moment. They haven’t won a match since the start of January and have lost eight of their nine matches since then in all competitions. With other relegation candidates picking up in form, this has seen them freefall down the Premier League table.

They come into this match in 18th position in the table, one point adrift of 17th placed Sunderland and in much worse form than them. Their home record doesn’t get any better either, with four of their last five at Carrow Road also ending in defeat.

Manchester City aren’t in the best of form either. They have exited the FA Cup and fallen ten points behind Premier League leaders Leicester, although they do have a game in hand on the teams above them.

A loss on Saturday would put West Ham in prime position to leapfrog them in the table, although the 5th placed side are tied up in FA Cup action this weekend.

Manchester City did manage to get back to form last weekend when a flurry of second half goals led to them thrashing Aston Villa 4-0, and they are in a good position in the Champions League as well after beating Dynami Kiev 3-1 in the first leg.

I think the quality Manchester City possess will just be too much for the struggling Canaries and I’m fully expecting the star studded visitors to win on Saturday. Odds of 3/5 for a Manchester City win look excellent value as well considering Norwich’s poor form home and away. I’m also backing a 3-1 correct score prediction at 12/1.
