There may be little riding on the game but both teams come into it following wins and will be keen to keep their form up right until the end although it would take a stunning run of wins for either side to threaten the play-offs. Preston won 2-1 at Lancashire rivals Bolton last time out and have taken 10 points from their last 4 home games. Therefore they will be confident here and hoping to add QPR to their impressive list of scalps this season, which is their first back at this level after spending several years in the 3rd tier.
