Real Betis vs Levante Betting Tips & Predictions

This may not be the most appealing game of the day but it is perhaps the most significant certainly from Levante’s point of view. The Valencia club are bottom of La Liga, 4 points from safety with only 7 games to play but a win here would really up the pressure on their rivals, most of whom play the following day. Levante have only lost 1 of their last 4 league games but they’ve also only won one and wins are what they need right now to get themselves out of the mess they find themselves. Their 0-0 home draw with fellow strugglers Sporting Gijon last time out did little to help their plight and they could really use 3 points here.

Real Betis fans might just be getting a little edgy again after 3 straight defeats against Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid and Malaga. This should be easier than all those 3 games but they’ve been very poor at home this term and have only won 3 league games at their own ground. They still have a 6 point cushion on the bottom 3 but they will almost certainly need at least one more win to stay up and they could put 12 points between themselves and Levante with victory here.

You can’t feel confident about backing them to do that given their home record though and although Levante’s away record also makes for pretty horrific reading they have looked a bit better on the road in their last two matches. They got a 1-1 draw at Real Sociedad and were on course to do the same at Deportivo La Coruna in their last away match only for a late own goal to give the Galicians the win. Therefore there may be some sense in backing Levante or Draw Double Chance at 4/5 considering they are playing the team with the worst home record in La Liga.
