Swansea vs Manchester City Betting Tips & Predictions

Swansea were a nightmare in the first half of the season, but the second half of the season has more than made up for it. They were in relegation trouble not too long ago, but they are coming into the final game of the season in a very respectable 11th position with the potential to move into 10th with a win on Sunday.

This is thanks to some impressive management from Francesco Guidolin, and their last couple of performances have been nothing short of brilliant. They beat Liverpool 3-1 at home at the beginning of May before thrashing West Ham 4-1 at Upton Park last weekend. This makes it five wins, one draw, and two defeats in their last eight outings.

Manchester City are in less impressive form. They have only won one of their last six in all competitions and find their top four position under threat. Fortunately for them, Manchester United missed out on the chance to leapfrog them in midweek when they lost to West Ham, but City still need a result to guarantee that Pep Guardiola gets Champions League football.

They are positioned in 4th, but just two points above Manchester United. They have also lost their last two matches on the road and run into massive defensive problems again, which will only worsen now that Vincent Kompany is sidelined again.

This could be an excellent game of football to end the season. Swansea have netted seven goals in their last two outings, but their last four games have seen them conceded nine times. Five of their last six games have resulted in Over 2.5 goals, whilst Manchester City have seen at least three goals scored in seven of their last 11 outings.

Both of these sides have the ability to score a hat full of goals, but have also shown defensive frailties recently. This makes odds of 10/11 for Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score look very good value, and a 2-2 correct score prediction looks good at 14/1.
