Torino vs Atalanta Predictions
Torino upset the form but with a 2-1 victory at Inter Milan last weekend, but they benefited from Roberto Mancini’s men having two players – Miranda and Yuto Nagatomo – sent off. Both of these teams have 36 points already and that could well be enough to stay in Serie A, but with seven games to go there is a lot of football still to play. Five home games without a win is a record Torino will want to put right and Frosinone are the only side Torino have beaten at home since early December.
Atalanta’s back-to-back home wins against Bologna and AC Milan has seen Edoardo Reja’s men climb away from danger after a long winless run saw them slip dangerously close to the relegation zone. Atalanta have only won twice on the road all season – at Roma and Empoli – with their last seven trips producing a return of only three points. Alejandro Gomez has scored in back-to-back matches to take his season’s tally up to seven.
The visitors come into the match in slightly better form having taken six points from two home games, but Reja’s side have struggled on the road all season. Having beaten the Milan clubs last weekend, a match against mid-table opposition might struggle to get the blood pumping for both sides on Sunday and they might well cancel each other out. The draw at 5/2 with bet365 looks a solid bet for this match, while 1-1 draw at 9/2 with bet365 stands out from the correct scores market.
