Trabzonspor vs Getafe Predictions

Trabzonspor are yet to win in the group stage of the Europa League this season and would have to win their remaining two games and rely on results result elsewhere to stand any chance of progressing through to the knockout stage. Getafe have scored in 71% of their away matches and have scored 26% of their goals in the first 15 minutes, so there is a decent chance that the visitors will get off to a good start in Russia. However, Getafe’s poor record of clean sheets on the road this season suggests that they are going to need to score at least twice to win on Thursday. 67% of Trabzonspor’s matches have seen over 2.5 goals scored and that matches our prediction for Thursday’s clash.

We’re confident that over 2.5 goals will be produced in Thursday’s match and we have predicted a final scoreline of 2-1 in favour of Getafe. The visitors have outperformed their hosts in Group C so far and, with Trabzonspor’s chances of qualifying very slim and no wins under their belt, we believe Getafe have more motivation for the points.
