Watford vs Bournemouth Predictions
Both of these sides were hot relegation candidate favourites in the summer, but both are looking to defy the odds this season. Watford have been excellent and find themselves in the top half of the table. Their 36 point tally so far leaves them just five points adrift of a Europa League qualification position, a position even the most optimistic Hornets fans couldn’t have hoped for.
Bournemouth are in a bit more trouble. A host of key injuries hindered their progress in the first half of the season, and despite their improvements since that nine match winless streak they are still only four points above the Premier League relegation zone. They come into this match fresh from being knocked out of the FA Cup by Everton and on the back of a three match losing streak in all competitions.
Reasons for Betting Tips
Watford’s sensational striking partnership Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo are looking to have a field day at home to a Bournemouth side who have conceded 23 goals on the road this season. Ighalo and Deeney have 22 Premier League goals between them in their debut season and have created more chances for each other than any striking duo in the league. This means it’s no surprise that Watford get on the scoresheet more often than not, and they have managed to net in nine of their last ten home matches in all competitions.
Bournemouth are no slouches in front of goal either though. They have scored over a goal per game on average and have only scored less than one side in the bottom half of the table away from home. Eight of their last ten matches have seen them get at least one goal in the bag, and six of these matches have seen both teams hit the back of the net.
This makes odds of 10/11 for Both Teams to Score look very attractive to me, but I still think Watford will get the win so a 2-1 home win looks good too.

Head to Head
The first Premier League encounter between these two ended 1-1 in October, but before that Watford had won three, drawn two, and lost one of their last six encounters with Bournemouth.
