Reason For Accrington Stanley vs Leyton Orient Betting Tips

A resurgent Accrington side look a good bet to get another three points when they host Leyton Orient on Tuesday but we feel the better value is in the goals market. For our tip we are backing there to be over 2.5 goals, which is available at 17/20 with bet365. For our correct score tip we think that Orient may well be able to grab a goal, but we feel they will ultimately be outclassed and fall to a 3-1 defeat, which is available at 12/1 with the same site.

After a run of six games without defeat Accrington fans will be forgiven for wondering where this form has been all season. Although relegation now looks unlikely they will be keen to put a bit more daylight between themselves and the drop zone. A key part of their renaissance has been their form in front of goal and they have scored 13 goals from their previous six league games. Even though they have managed two clean sheets in a row they have remained a little suspect at the back, and those same six games has seen them conceed nine goals at the other end.

Leyton Orient’s problems are well documented and following a heavy 3-0 home defeat to Grimsby at the weekend, their bid for survival in League Two is looking like an increasingly uphill challenge. Like their hosts they have found plenty of goals going in at both ends of the pitch of late and their previous eight league games have seen a total of 26 goals scored, which averages at 3.25 goals per game.

The Orient fans have set up a fundraising campaign to raise £250,000 towards their survival. If you wish to donate then please click here.

Head to Head

Accrington have the better of the three meetings between these sides with a record of two wins and one defeat. All three meetings between the sides have finished with just one goal being scored and when the sides met earlier in the campaign it was Orient who came out on top after a 1-0 win.

Accrington Stanley Team News

Accrington Stanley Team Badge Sean Clare is a doubt after he was forced off in the victory over Exeter at the weekend and Omar Beckles will likely have to settle for a place on the bench again as Accrington have kept two clean sheets in their last two matches.

Leyton Orient Team News

Leyton Orient Team Badge Nigel Atangana looks set to return after missing the last three games with a groin complaint and they will also be boosted by the return of Gavin Massey from suspension, although Liam Kelly is still banned after pushing a ball boy against Plymouth. Robbie Weir, Jens Janse and Aron Pollock are all long-term absentees.
