Arsenal To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Arsenal are unbeaten at home this season and have won six of their eight games. They have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five at the Emirates and face the Premier League’s lowest scorers, with Burnley failing to find the net in three of their last four competitive outings.

Arsenal vs Burnley Predictions

  • Arsenal have won six and drawn two of their eight competitive home games this season.
  • Burnley are the lowest scorers in the Premier League with just eight goals.
  • Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five home matches.

Gunners aim to bounce back

Controversy reigned supreme at St James’ Park last weekend as Arsenal saw their unbeaten start to the Premier League season come to an end against Newcastle but, after a midweek win in the Champions League, they will be confident of getting back to winning ways on Saturday.

The Gunners were comfortable 2-0 winners over Sevilla on Wednesday and have looked excellent at the Emirates this season, winning six and drawing two of their eight competitive games in front of their own fans.

Clarets continue to struggle

Burnley should prove little obstacle for the hosts, with Vincent Kompany seemingly abandoning the attack-minded play that saw them dominate the Championship last term.

The Clarets lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace last time out to extend their losing run to five matches in all competitions, while their only Premier League win of the season came against fellow newly-promoted outfit Luton over a month ago.

Kompany’s side are the lowest scorers in the Premier League with just eight goals and they have failed to find the net in three of their last four in all competitions.

Easy home win expected

With Arsenal keeping a clean sheet in four of their last five competitive home games, the Clarets could struggle to make an impression and backing Arsenal to win to nil is recommended.

The Gunners have averaged 2.63 goals-per-game at home this season and Burnley have lost 3-0 in two of their last four outings, making that an appealing correct score prediction.

Bukayo Saka returned to the scoresheet in midweek and added an assist on top of that. He has either scored or assisted in ten of his 14 starts for the Gunners this season and looks a good anytime goalscorer option.
