Eintracht Frankfurt Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Frankfurt have the league’s best record as pre-match outsiders this season (W3, D1, L1) and Bayern look a side finding their feet after the extended winter break, we give the underdogs a chance here.

Draw 2-2

Reason for tip

Bayern haven’t lost a game in any competition since September 2022 (W12, D3), and they shouldn’t lose here either, although they may have to settle for a point in a high-scoring encounter.

Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt Predictions

  • Eintracht Frankfurt have lost just once as pre-match outsiders this season (W3, D1, L1).
  • The visitors are yet to lose when scoring the opener in league action this season (W8, D2).
  • Frankfurt have lost just one away league game this season and won here 2-1 last term.

Can Bayern Munich bounce back to form?

A pair of draws since the Bundesliga restart has helped the chasing pack reel Bayern Munich in ahead of this round, with the ten-time consecutive champions only three points ahead of second before a ball was kicked this weekend, a margin which will likely be even slimmer come kick off.

The signing of Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer to replace their injured #1 Manuel Neuer was a shrewd move, yet questions of professionalism have come to the fore from the higher ups at the Bavarian club after forward Serge Gnabry celebrated a draw with Leipzig by jetting off to Paris Fashion week.

Despite their minor hiccups behind the scenes and on the pitch, Bayern Munich enter this clash as rightful favourites and have not tasted defeat since September, going an incredible 15 competitive games without a loss since then.

Finding value in the visitors

Eintracht Frankfurt were one of only two Bundesliga sides to win here at the Allianz Arena last season and as the best performing betting outsiders this season (W3, D1, L1), Oliver Glasner’s Eagles may well fancy their chances here.

The visitors have lost just one away league game so far this season and despite playing the best side in Germany by a country mile here, their odds are staggering and must be seen as value given that mid-table Cologne came here and took a point during midweek.

We’re going against the grain and siding with Frankfurt in the double chance market here, although a home win would really not surprise given the short odds about such an outcome. From a value perspective, siding with the Europa League champions looks the way to go, along with a smaller stakes play on an exciting 2-2 draw in the correct score market.
