In form Stevenage look to continue their play-off charge when they travel to Blackpool on Tuesday. Our preview looks at some of the best betting tips and gives some predictions below.

Stevenage League Two

Reason For Blackpool vs Stevenage Betting Tips

It’s a clash of two of the most in form sides in League Two when Blackpool host Stevenage on Tuesday night. For our tip we think that Boro will be victorious but given that they have an excellent 12/5 for the outright win, we feel we can add a little security and still get some excellent return. Backing them with a +1 handicap is available at 4/5 with bet365. For our correct score tip we are predicting a close game but think the visitors will ultimately come out on top with a 2-1 win, which is available at 11/1 with the same site.

Blackpool are fast becoming the draw specialists of League Two and Saturday’s 0-0 stalemate with Wycombe was their fourth draw in six games and their 15th draw of the season. They have proven to be difficult to beat and sit within three points of the play-off places so still have plenty to play for. With back to back clean sheets they have shown that they are tightening up at the back and with 12 goals from their previous six games they have also found their form in front of goal.

Stevenage are the most in form side in the division and 22 points from their previous eight league games has seen them close the gap to the automatic promotion places to just four points. An impressive victory over promotion rivals Luton on Saturday was a big indication of the progress they have made so far and 19 goals scored from their previous eight league games shows they have enough firepower up front to cause any side in League Two trouble.

Head to Head

There's only ever been one meeting between these sides and it came earlier this season. Blackpool took all three points on that day after a 2-0 away win.

Blackpool Team News

Blackpool Team Badge Colin Daniel is expected to return after missing the 0-0 draw with Wycombe in order to avoid a 10th yellow card of the season which would have meant a two game ban before the amnesty came into force on Sunday. Sam Slocombe could return having returned to training last week but Kyle Vassell and Jim McAlister remain missing.

Stevenage Team News

Stevenage Team Badge Goalkeeper Jamie Jones served the last game of his three-match ban following his sending off against Crewe and he is expected to come straight back into the starting line up. Josh McQuoid is also available should also return after being ineligible against his parent club at the weekend.
