Charlton’s dreadful run continued at the weekend as they were defeated 2-1 at home to Bristol Rovers, meaning they have lost three games in a row and are without a win over 90 minutes in eight matches.

That form led to the sacking of Ben Garner, but things have not improved under caretaker Anthony Gardner, whose side have seen eight of their last 11 games contain three or more goals.
