At the start of the campaign both Notts County and Coventry City will have been well fancied to be in with a shot of winning the League Two title, and for the first half of the season those feelings looked to be well founded as Notts County slugged it out with Luton for top spot. However, it was not to be for County as their form faded and they dropped out of the running.

It is not all over though, as the end of season play-offs represent a vital second chance and with Kevin Nolan’s side picking up their form in the closing weeks of the season, they look well set to take an advantage into the play-off semi final second leg.

However, as you might expect from the side that finished directly below Notts County in the final League Two table, getting past Coventry will be no easy feat.
