      Dijon vs Toulouse Predictions

      • Toulouse are the only side in Ligue 1 to have not won an away game this season.
      • Dijon have lost just one of their last 13 home games, six wins have come in this time with the sole defeat coming against PSG.
      • Toulouse have failed to score in each of their last seven games with twelve conceded in that time.

      Toulouse Sinking Without A Trace

Toulouse have searched far and wide for wins this season but the expeditions have proven fruitless and les Violets sit nine points adrift in 20th as a result. It really has been a disaster of a season so far for Toulouse with just as many league wins as managers highlighting the type of campaign they’ve been having.

They are now winless in their last 18 games in all competitions with their 0-0 draw against second bottom Amiens the only reprieve in this awful run of games. They offered slightly more against Rennes than they have most teams last week but that still wasn’t enough as they fell to a 2-0 defeat.

Denis Zanko’s men have failed to score in each of their last seven games with twelve goals conceded in this time. Away from home their struggles have continued with them the only team in Ligue 1 to have not won a game on the road this season. This trip to Dijon is massive for them if they want to start a late charge for survival.

Dijon Looking For Daylight Between Them And The Drop Zone

The hosts for this one will prove tricky customers though. Dijon may sit 17th in Ligue 1 at the moment but they have shown on numerous occasions recently that they are probably capable of sitting a bit higher. Despite the 4-0 loss to PSG last week, a result that every team in the division suffers at some point, before that they had picked up three consecutive draws against 5th place Monaco, 8th place Bordeaux and 11th place Nantes.

They can be a damaging attacking unit at times with nine goals scored in their last six league games. Twelve have been conceded in this time which shows where their weaknesses lie but against Toulouse they will have the opportunity to flex their muscles in the final third.

      Toulouse To Lose Yet Again?

Dijon have lost just one of their last 13 home games and with that defeat coming against PSG, they should be pretty confident going into this one. It’s a massive clash in terms of the relegation battle but unfortunately for Toulouse their away record is too bad for us to back them for this one. We’re going for a 2-0 win for the home side here as a result.
