Everton did win 5-1 away when these sides last met at the end of last season, but that game came at a time when they were scrapping for survival and Brighton had come through a hectic period. There are different circumstances on Saturday and the visitors may be able to nick the three points, so a 3-1 win for Brighton appeals as they have scored at least three goals in all five of their league wins.

Teenage forward Evan Ferguson ended his goal drought for Brighton against Fulham last time out, meaning he has two goals in his last four games for club and country. The Ireland international should keep his starting spot at Goodison and he looks a good candidate for a goal at any time.
