Forest Green Rovers vs Crawley Town predictions as they meet in League Two on Saturday. Will the hosts be able to retain their unbeaten start to the season? Read on for our preview of the match and all our free betting tips below.

Reason For Forest Green Rovers vs Crawley Town Betting Tips

Just a few seasons ago the clash between Forest Green Rovers and Crawley Town will have taken place in non-league football in front of a few hundred fans. However, thanks to some excellent management and some owners with deep pockets, both sides are enjoying the most successful spells in their history and are currently plying their trade in the fourth tier of English football. This weekend, the two sides clash once more and with each side having a good start to the campaign, they will both be keen to earn three points to continue their momentum.

The hosts come into this Saturday’s clash yet to taste defeat in the league this season, however with six of their eight outings so far ending up all square, it is clear that they need to take a few more risks in order to start climbing the table. Rovers have only twice managed to score more than once in a game this season and with just one clean sheet to their name so far, it is easy to see why they have not been able to secure all three points so frequently this season.

Crawley may have started the season well, but following the loss of Harry Kewell to struggling Notts County, they are in a period of transition. Step forward, Gabriele Cioffi. The new man has had an excellent start to his new role but he will know his side will have to work on their defensive capabilities despite the strength they have shown in attack so far.

The confidence of both of these sides will be sky high, given how competitive they have been so far this season. We think that this will result in both sides going on the attack from the off and given that 88% of Forest Green’s matches have finished with both teams scoring, we think that this is the best opportunity for a decent return from this fixture.

Head to Head

Crawley have the better of the head to head between these two sides as they hold a record of seven wins, four draws and five defeats. The sides last met in a 2-0 Forest Green win back February.

Forest Green Rovers Team News

Forest Green Rovers Team Badge Forest Green manager Mark Cooper has no fresh injury worries to contend with but could be tempted to make changes for the visit of Crawley. Farrend Rawson is missing as he serves the second of his three-match ban, while neither Fabien Robert or Lewis Thomas will be available either after both went out on loan this week.

Crawley Town Team News

Crawley Town Team Badge New Crawley boss Gabriele Cioffi will be looking to make it back-to-back wins and he could name an unchanged side. The Italian's options are limited by the absence of key players, with captain Jimmy Smith sidelined by a serious knee injury and Romain Vincelot battling an ankle problem.
