Fulham and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Nottingham Forest have been poor on their travels this season, losing five of their seven Premier League away games, and they should be opposed against Fulham. That said, the hosts have been leaky and the Tricky Trees can get on the scoresheet.

Fulham 3-1

Reason for tip

Fulham’s last three league games have generated 16 goals and this could be another high-scoring fixture, so go for a 3-1 win for the hosts in the correct score market.

Bobby De Cordova Reid To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

There have been no standout goalscorers for Fulham this season but Bobby De Cordova-Reid took his league tally to three with his strike against Liverpool and he is a worthwhile bet to find the net.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

  • Nottingham Forest have lost five of their seven away games in the Premier League this season
  • Fulham’s last three league fixtures have produced 16 goals
  • Both teams have scored in eight of Nottingham Forest’s 14 league assignments this term
  • Bobby De Cordova-Reid has scored three times in this season’s Premier League

Fulham look to build on decent Anfield showing

Fulham suffered a gut-punching 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday but Marco Silva’s men can pick themselves up with a win at home to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

The Cottagers nearly scuppered Liverpool’s perfect home record, having twice come from behind to go in 2-2 at the break before Bobby De Cordova-Reid thought he bagged a winner in the 80th minute.

But Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold scored in the 87th and 88th minutes respectively to turn the game on its head and the Reds ran out 4-3 winners.

While Fulham looked defensively porous once again, there were plenty of positives to extract from their attacking performance and they will be looking to build on their most recent home game, which they won 3-2 against Wolves last Monday.

Away form holding back Nottingham Forest

They are in 14th spot in the Premier League but come up against a side below them in the standings this Wednesday when 15th-placed Forest visit Craven Cottage.

The Tricky Trees were also edged by a single goal at the weekend, losing 1-0 at home to Everton following an excellent second-half strike from Dwight McNeil.

That was Forest’s third defeat on the spin in the league and their win over highflyers Aston Villa in early November feels like an age ago.

Steve Cooper’s men will also be looking over their shoulders in the battle at the bottom and their away form is pretty uninspiring.

Heading into their visit to Fulham, Forest have picked up only four of their 13 Premier League points on their travels, winning away to Chelsea 1-0 in September and drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace in October.

Tricky Trees can contribute to high-scoring fixture

Home is where the heart is for the Midlands club, although they have found the net in four of their last six games and could bag a consolation on the road to leaky Fulham.

As for a correct score, four of Fulham’s last five matches in all competitions have generated at least four goals and with that in mind, a 3-1 win for the home side could be the way to go.

Fulham have netted 16 times in their 14 Premier League games this season but a prolific goalscorer has been hard to come by since they lost Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer.

But De Cordova-Reid was on the scoresheet against Liverpool last time out, contributing to a league tally of three goals, and he could be a worthwhile bet to breach a Forest side who have been out of their depth away from home.
