Getafe vs Osasuna Predictions

Getafe not scoring many

Getafe have now played eight home games in La Liga this season, netting just eight goals in the process – only three teams outside of the relegation zone have a less potent attack.

Indeed, Quique Sanchez Flores’ side have failed to even score in half of their matches at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, while their total of 11 strikes, home and away, is the worst in the division.

Defensively, they are pretty solid at home, keeping clean sheets in their last two matches, but it looks unlikely that this one will be a goal fest.

Osasuna strong on the road

Osasuna are another team who do not score many. Indeed, their eight away matches this season have yielded just ten goals, but they have fired blanks in the most recent four of these games.

It is, in fact, over six hours since they scored on the road, but mercifully they are a tight at the back, conceding only eight times, which means their away fixtures are averaging less than three strikes per 90 minutes.

Jagoba Arrasate’s side do still have one of the best records on their travels in La Liga though, and I fancy them to bounce back to form in this one against a poor Getafe side.

However, I cannot see these misfiring attacks troubling the scorers too much, so predict there will be less than three goals in the match, with Osasuna shading it 1-0.
