Guarani SP vs Boa Predictions

Saturday’s Brazilian Serie B action sees Guarani playing host to rock bottom Boa. It’s expected to be a comfortable evening for the home side as they look to claim the 3 points.

Guarani have made a solid, if unspectacular start to the season and that description also matches their recent form, currently unbeaten in 4 outings but having won just one of said fixtures.

Just inside the top half at the time of writing, Bugre will be looking to continue what is a very impressive home record in this one, in order to move closer to the promotion spots. All in all, Umberto Louzer’s troops have won 7 of their last 10 matches in front of the home crowd and arrive in buoyant mood after securing an impressive point on the road at Avai, those that take to the field will be confident of securing victory.

None more so than because they face the worst side in Serie B so far; Boa. Coruja currently prop up the table after collecting a measly 6 points from their opening 12 matches and unless performances improve swiftly, it looks like being a very long year for the side.

New boss Ney da Matta will take charge for the first time on Saturday after replacing the sacked Daniel Paulista but looks to have his work cut out as regards getting off to a strong start. His newly inherited team take to the field off the back of consecutive 2-0 home defeats and have performed terribly on the road for quite some time now too, losing 8 of their last 10 matches on enemy territory without even so much as scoring a goal.

As such, there’s plenty of appealing markets in this clash and the two that really stand out for us are backing Guarani to win on the full time line and for said win to be to nil. Taking all of the above into consideration, both bets really do appeal and we’re more than happy to get behind them.

Guarani are a powerful home outfit and a stronger side than Boa in general and should have few issues in picking up the points. The hosts have conceded just 1 goal in their last 4 home matches and new manager or not, Boa will be hard-pressed to take anything away from the match given the deficiencies they’ve been showing all season, with a 1-0 Guarani win on the cards.
