Inter Milan to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Inter Milan are averaging nearly four-goals-per-game on home soil this season and should make it six wins from six in Serie A against a Sassuolo side that have taken just one point from the last 21 available away from home.

8/11odds when tipped

Inter Milan 3-0

Reason for tip

Inter have averaged nearly four-goals-per-game on home soil this season, while they have only conceded once in their three matches at San Siro.  This could be another routine win for Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Inter Milan vs Sassuolo Predictions

  • Inter Milan are a perfect five wins from five in Serie A this season
  • Sassuolo have picked up just one point from their last seven away games in Serie A
  • Marcus Thuram has scored in his last three home matches for club or country

Inter chasing six of the best

Inter Milan have been the standout team in Serie A over the opening weeks of the season, winning all five of their league matches to date, including a 5-1 success over fierce rivals AC Milan in their last home fixture.

The Nerazzurri are averaging nearly four-goals-per-game on home soil this season and they also put that number past Sassuolo the last time these two sides faced off in Milan back in May – a contest Inter won 4-2.

Sassuolo are yet to pick up a point on their travels this season and have registered just one draw and six defeats from their last seven away matches in the league.

Alessio Dionisi’s side were 4-2 winners over Juventus on home soil last time out, but away to a rampant Inter team is likely to represent an entirely different proposition.

Thuram enjoying home comforts

Marcus Thuram has impressed since joining Inter from Borussia Monchengladbach over the summer, with both his goals to date for the Nerazzurri coming on home soil.

Throw into the mix the goal Thuram scored for France against the Republic of Ireland during the international break and the 26-year-old has notched in his last three home games for either club or country – a record he could well extend against Sassuolo.
