Kalmar FF vs Helsingborg Predictions

Two struggling Allsvenskan sides meet on Saturday, as Helsingborg head to Kalmar. The visitors are back in the top flight after winning promotion last season, but they’ve found themselves just narrowly above the drop zone on their return. They will be aiming to see off a Kalmar side who are above them on goal difference heading into this clash. Can Helsingborg claim their first victory in five games in Saturday’s trip?

Kalmar are sitting in 11th place in the Allsvenskan after a mixed start which has seen them struggle to claim victories. They are coming off the back of a 10th place finish last season, which saw them win less than a third of their matches. This term the hosts have just one win in their opening seven matches, while that came in an away win last month. They’ve failed to win in four at their own ground this season, so there could be an opening for the visitors to take something from this clash.

However, Helsingborg haven’t exactly impressed on the road this term. The hosts have left in six goals in four home games, while they’ve gone 10 games in the league without keeping a clean sheet. Their last shutout at home came in September last year, so Helsingborg are likely to continue their scoring streak.

However, the hosts have seen both teams score in their last six league games. They’ve seen BTTS land in 86% of their matches overall, as have the visitors. Both sides have obvious issues at the back, which makes both teams to score a well-priced option here in our eyes.
