Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both of these sides are leaking goals as Leicester have gone 10 games without a clean sheet and Bournemouth have conceded in 13 of their 14 away games in the league, so we’re expecting both of these suspect defences to concede.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

This is a huge game for both sides and the fear of losing may prove a bigger motivator than the desire to win for both sets of players, so we feel they may cancel each other out and play out a 1-1 draw.

Leicester City vs AFC Bournemouth Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in Leicester’s last four games.
  • The Foxes have gone 10 games without a clean sheet.
  • Both teams have scored in three of Bournemouth’s last six fixtures.
  • The Cherries have conceded in 13 of their 14 Premier League away games.

Relegation six-pointer at the King Power

Leicester began life without Brendan Rodgers with a defeat to Aston Villa on Tuesday and they face a massive fixture this weekend against fellow strugglers Bournemouth on saturday.

Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell took charge against Villa and are expected to remain in their roles as caretakers for the visit of the Cherries.

The Foxes have just one point to show from their last seven games and have seven defeats in their last eight across all competitions, leaving them two points adrift of safety.

Bournemouth are two points better off but are in the bottom three on goal difference, although they have shown some fight of late with two wins in their last four games.

Both teams struggling at the back

It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that both of these teams have issues in defence and for that reason both teams to score appeals for the main bet.

Leicester have gone 10 games without a clean sheet and both teams have scored in each of their last four. Bournemouth have managed just two shut-outs in their last 16 games and their only away clean sheet in the league has come at a Wolves side with the joint worst attack in the division, so both of these leaky defences look liable to concede.

Spoils could be shared

This is potentially a must-win game for both of these relegation-threatened teams but that may lead to the two sides cancelling each other out.

Bournemouth have lost 10 of their 14 league trips but Leicester’s home record has been one of their biggest problems this season as they have just three wins in 14 attempts at the King Power in the league and have only won one of their eight home games since the World Cup.

As such, it is hard to back either side with a great deal of confidence and a 1-1 draw looks a reasonable suggestion in the correct score market as the fear of losing could outweigh the desire to win for the respective teams in this relegation six-pointer.
