Livingston losing streak

Livingston comes into this one hoping to end a six-match losing streak when they welcome Hibernian, who themselves have not been in great form recently. Livingston’s losing streak was extended to six matches at the weekend as they were dealt a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Hearts. It was an all too familiar story as they put up a strong fight but it was not enough as Liam Boyce’s goal for Hearts was all that was needed. Livingston remains in the relegation zone and it’s largely due to their toothless attack, scoring just 12 goals in 16 games.

Hibernian have now gone two games without a win as they only managed a draw at the weekend. It means they continue to occupy a spot in the bottom half of the table. Hibs have struggled for consistency this season but there is no denying that their squad has some excellent attacking talent, it’s just a case of them showing it on a regular basis.

We think there will be at least three goals here. Hibs have the superior squad in terms of ability, and they should be winning here, but their sloppy defence has allowed all of their previous nine opponents to score past them. We think Hibs need to score at least twice here if they want the three points here and so we believe there will be at least three goals in the game, with Hibs coming out on top.
