The tough games are coming thick and fast for Macclesfield Town who face fourth-placed MK Dons after losing 3-0 at Bury. The hosts have had to endure a tough run of fixtures but they know they cannot afford to write off any contest between now and the end of the season as they bid to avoid dropping back into the National League just one season on from finally regaining their spot back in the Football League. The Silkmen are four points from safety and with time running out, they will be desperate to secure the three points.

MK Dons will be confident of claiming all three points and a fifth consecutive League Two win at struggling Macclesfield Town this weekend. The Dons were battling with Lincoln City at the top of the league at the turn of the year but their form dipped and they fell so far that a play-off place looked to be the best that was on offer come the end of the season. However, the visitors have rallied and their recent form means that their fans are once again excited by winning promotion back to League One at the first time of asking.

The hosts may go into this match in desperate need of three points, but their form does not give us any confidence that they have the capabilities to do so.
