We’re in for a battle at Fir Park

A match that both sides will look at as an opportunity to claim three valuable points that can push them up the table. It’s one that promises to be a feisty encounter, as is ever the case between these two when you look at the fact there has been a red card awarded in each of the previous three meetings.

The hosts, despite their lowly position, have at least been regular scorers and have hit the back of the net in six of their eight league matches on home soil. However, they have also conceded in six and this is something that needs improvement.

Hibernian are just two points adrift of the top half but if they have hopes of pushing up, they need to stop conceding so frequently. Of the ten road games they have played, they have shipped at least once in eight of them. However, they should be able to find a way past this Motherwell defence.
