      NAC Breda vs Heracles Predictions

Last weekend both Breda and Heracles picked up 1-1 draws against their respective opponents, and being away from home, a point certainly wasn’t a bad result for either club. On Saturday the two go head to head in Breda, but with fifteen points separating them after just ten league games it is clear to see that one side has enjoyed a great start to the season, while the other has seriously struggled.

Breda made it two games without defeat when they earned a 1-1 draw against Den Haag last weekend, with the visitors even taking the lead in the twelfth minute through Ilić. However, that advantage didn’t last long, just five minutes to be exact, as Den Haag’s top scorer El Khayati levelled the teams with his eighth goal of the campaign.

No more goals were scored in the match, despite the best efforts of the hosts who had 55% of the overall possession, five corners to their guests one, and twelve shots in the match compared to the six Breda managed. However, only four of each teams shots managed to hit the target and in that sense a point was a fair result, but that wont stop Den Haag kicking themselves at only managing to draw at home to one of the divisions weakest teams.

Breda’s top scorer in the league this season is te Vrede with four goals, and the only other players to have scored more than once in the Eredivisie for this weekends hosts are Nijholt and Rosheuvel who have two goals apiece.

Heracles’ top scorer Peterson has enjoyed a surprisingly good start to the campaign, much like his team, with eight goals in the opening ten matches, but it was the clubs second top scorer Adrián Dalmau that opened the scoring against Zwolle last weekend with his fifth league goal of the campaign.

That seventeenth minute strike saw Heracles lead at the half time break, despite being outplayed by the hosts for the majority of the forty-five minutes. The second half continued in a similar vein, with the hosts seeing more of the ball, creating the better chances, and forcing Heracles to defend from deep.

Zwolle did eventually get the equalising goal their play deserved through a seventy-third minute strike from van Duinen, and the hosts probably should have gone on to win the game, but couldn’t find another way past German goalkeeper Blaswich in the Heracles net.

We’re confident that Heracles will return to winning ways on Saturday against Breda, with the final scoreline reading 2-1 to the visitors. Heracles have a good record against Breda, winning 16 of their 31 previous encounters. Heracles have won four of their last six matches in all competitions, while Breda have lost four of their last six.
