Nice looking like genuine title contenders

Nice are enjoying a fantastic season in Francesco Farioli’s first campaign in charge and they are the only unbeaten team left in Ligue 1 ahead of their trip to Nantes.

Les Aiglons sit just one point behind leaders PSG, and they should be able to continue their undefeated start to the campaign by coming away from the Stade de la Beaujoire with all three points.

Goals a concern for Nantes

Nantes went through a good spell during October but they have been out-of-sorts for some time now. The hosts have just one point to show from their last four games and have only scored one goal during that run.

It is hard to see La Maison Jaune making many inroads against Nice’s formidable defence as the visitors have managed eight consecutive clean sheets, winning six of those games, in a run stretching back to the first of October.

An away win to nil is one option here, but the general evens on offer for a Nice victory has enough value for our main bet and is a confident selection.
