Norwich to Win

Reason for tip

Norwich are unbeaten this season after three games (W2, D1) and they should be able to see off visitors Millwall on Sunday. The Lions have lost their last two games and they lost both league meetings with the Canaries last term.

Norwich 3-1

Reason for tip

Norwich have hit six goals across two league games, while Millwall have only failed to score in two of their last eight competitive away games so a 3-1 win for the hosts appeals.

Norwich vs Millwall Predictions

  • Norwich are unbeaten after three games in all competitions (W2. D1).
  • Millwall have lost their last two games.
  • Norwich won both league meetings between these sides last season.

Wagner has Canaries flying

Norwich have made a strong start in David Wagner’s first full season in charge and can continue their run with three points against Millwall on Sunday.

The Lions made an early statement of their own by winning 1-0 at Middlesbrough, but have lost their last two games without scoring.

Carrow Road form key

Norwich had a pretty torrid run at home towards the end of last season as they won just three of their final 14 home Championship games and picked up just one point in their final five.

Manager David Wagner will be well aware they need to solve those issues if they are to push for promotion this term and the early signs are positive, having claimed a 2-1 win over Hull in their only game at this venue so far.

The visit of this out-of-sorts Millwall side, who were beaten 4-0 in the EFL Cup by Reading and then 1-0 at home by Bristol City, looks a good opportunity for Norwich to make it two wins in two attempts at Carrow Road as they did the league double over the Lions last season.

Millwall can end scoring drought

The visitors have failed to score in their last two games but they may at least be able to get on the scoresheet on Sunday, with a 3-1 win for Norwich the correct score pick.

The Canaries have hit six goals across two league games so far, while Millwall have only failed to score in two of their last eight competitive away games and their only goal so far this season came away from home.
