Just a few months ago this weekend’s fixture was being eyed up as one of the classic matches which gets played on the final game of the season as, at the time, it looked like it could be a clash between first and second in the table, with the winner claiming the League Two title. Few saw Accrington Stanley coming at that point and many would have laughed off suggestions that either of these teams would lift the trophy at the season’s conclusion.

The 29-year-old has 21 goals to his name already this season and with six in his last seven outings, he is certainly in the sort of form which could see him add to his tally this weekend.
